A Good Time at The Velvet Whip 7-17-26

The Velvet Whip, Philadelphia

Some nights are meant to remind you that music can simply feel good.

Performing at The Velvet Whip was full of energy, talented artists, and the kind of moments that make you grateful you came outside and shared what you love. I enjoyed stepping into the room, giving my performance, and allowing myself to have fun inside the experience.

Every show does not have to carry a heavy lesson. Sometimes the lesson is to be present, enjoy the music, celebrate the people around you, and let a good night be a good night.

I was grateful to connect with other artists and to add another live moment to this season of growth. Shout-out to @codegreyofficial and everyone who helped bring the event together.

The more I perform, the more I understand that joy is part of the work too. Joy keeps the journey alive. It reminds me why I started and gives me something real to carry into the next room.

Reflection: Let yourself enjoy what you have worked for. Gratitude can be quiet, but sometimes it looks like smiling, dancing, and having a beautiful time.
