An Afternoon of Art at Flaco & Friends
World Cafe Live, Philadelphia

There is something special about being in a room filled with people who genuinely love creating. Flaco & Friends brought together music, poetry, personality, and so many different kinds of artistry under one roof. The musicianship was beautiful, the poetry was powerful, and the entire afternoon felt like a celebration of what can happen when artists are given room to be fully themselves.
I was grateful to share the World Cafe Live stage with such a talented lineup. Every performance carried its own energy, and watching the show unfold reminded me that there is space for all of our voices. We do not have to sound alike to inspire one another.
A special thank-you to @wheres_flaco for bringing everyone together and shining as the heart of the show. I also left with an unexpected blessing, complimentary studio time from @spitphilly, and an amazing live sketch from @kyleslivesketches. Those thoughtful surprises made an already meaningful day even sweeter.
I walked away feeling inspired, seen, and thankful. Sometimes the gift of a performance reaches far beyond the few minutes spent onstage. It lives in the conversations, the new connections, and the quiet reminder that continuing to show up creates room for beautiful things to find you.
Reflection: Keep bringing your whole heart into the room. You never know what connection, opportunity, or memory is waiting there.
